The new Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio super powerful special editions

Rumors are circulating on the web about extremely high powers and truly extraordinary performance, turning these iconic models into vehicles capable of offering an unprecedented driving experience. So we get ready to discover the more extreme and high-performance side of Giulia and Stelvio.

As anticipated, one of the most interesting news that has recently emerged for Alfa Romeo enthusiasts concerns the future editions of Giulia and Stelvio. At the presentation of the partnership between Alfa Romeo and Luna Rossa, the Biscione’s number one, Santo Ficili, confirmed the arrival of these special versions.

The current top-of-the-line Quadrifoglios will be the starting point for these limited editions, which are scheduled to be launched early next year. Cristiano Fiorio has already called them “very powerful,” fueling anticipation for these cars that promise to push the performance of the two models even higher.

So, these limited-version Giulia and Stelvio are expected to turn into genuine road-going supercars, featuring high power and performance that will make their mark.

These new creations will rest on the solid foundation of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models, which are already equipped with the powerful 520-hp twin-turbo V6 engine.

Florio’s words

The excitement is sure to be felt-especially after statements from Cristiano Fiorio, head of global marketing communications and strategic projects for the brand. Indeed, Fiorio confirmed to the media in Asia and Australia that collaboration on these exciting projects has just begun and will see concrete developments in the next six to eight months.

“We have already started working,” he explained, “and we aim to launch something exclusive and high-performance in the first quarter of 2026. This will be a very limited and powerful project.” This will be followed by “the top of the line in mid to late 2026, in preparation for the America’s Cup in 2027.”

We sense that the company is preparing even more extreme versions of the Quadrifoglio, the brand’s emblem of sportiness. These could feature significant engine upgrades or, alternatively, an unchanged technical configuration but enhanced by exclusive aesthetic elements and a limited run.

Alfa Romeo Luna Rossa

A key element of these new designs is the collaboration with the Luna Rossa team and Lorenzo Sirena. In fact, Fiorio added, “We are collaborating with the Luna Rossa team and Lorenzo Sirena to transfer our technical know-how, advanced design and use of light and fast materials into a series of limited edition cars.” This synergy aims to result in unique creations, fusing the best of both worlds.

The project will take shape “starting from the base of the Quadrifoglio, our emblem of high performance, with the aim of combining power and control.” The intention is to integrate “innovative materials, inspired by the sailing world, and make the most of the elegance and identity of the two brands. The soul will be that of the Quadrifoglio, but enriched by technological research and exclusive design.”

But the news does not stop there. Apparently, “special editions are also expected regarding Alfa Romeo Junior and Tonale.” This is what was guessed from Santo Ficili‘s statements.
