Alfa Romeo E-segment render

A large Alfa Romeo sports sedan, sculpted, elegant and technologically advanced, stands at the center of a render shared in recent hours by designer Mike Mickey, who imagined a possible high-performance flagship for the Biscione brand through a digital concept that appears credible both stylistically and technically.

Alfa Romeo concept shows vision of modern high-power sports sedan

Although the render remains unofficial, the project quickly captured the interest of enthusiasts. According to the author, under the hood it would feature the 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. This configuration would bring total output to around 630 horsepower, with strong low-end response and consistent power delivery across the rev range. The technical setup would also include Q4 all-wheel drive with a limited-slip differential, a solution designed to combine the dynamic precision and stability of a pure sports car with the comfort and presence of a large sedan.

From a design perspective, the concept focuses on flowing surfaces and taut proportions, avoiding sharp edges. The bodywork recalls some classic large Alfa Romeo sedans, reinterpreted with modern muscularity. The front end features the iconic central grille integrated into a carbon-fiber structure, while slim horizontal Matrix LED headlights emphasize width and character.

At the rear, the concept avoids a traditional spoiler. Aerodynamic work relies on an active diffuser integrated into the lower section, a solution that maintains clean lines without compromising efficiency. A full-width horizontal light signature, quad exhaust outlets, wide tracks and a lowered stance reinforce a sense of solidity, presence and power.

At present, Alfa Romeo does not plan a return to the large sedan segment. CEO Santo Ficili has reaffirmed that the brand’s future will not include the E-segment, confirming the next generations of Giulia and Stelvio, expected in 2028, as the top models in the lineup.

Any future expansion could instead focus on the lower range, with a possible new model positioned between Junior and Tonale. For now, no official confirmation exists, though further indications may emerge during 2026.
