The Fiat Titano is the first product of Stellantis’ new pickup hub in Cordoba, with the goal of exporting throughout the region. It is the first pickup truck produced as part of a new family of vehicles planned in the R$2 billion investment announced for the 2025-2030 cycle. This project will generate 1,800 new jobs, 50 percent of which will be filled by women. The locally produced MultiJet 2.2 engine will also be developed, which will begin equipping Stellantis models starting in 2027.
Stellantis Automotive Hub in Córdoba production start Fiat Titano
Stellantis announces the start of production of a new vehicle at the Stellantis Automotive Hub in Córdoba, the Fiat Titano pickup truck. This initiative is part of a larger project to produce a new family of vehicles in Argentina, with the goal of transforming the Córdoba hub into a pickup truck hub for export throughout the region. In this way Stellantis reinforces its commitment to the region and reaffirms the potential of the Argentine industry, which can count on excellent suppliers and a highly skilled workforce.

Focusing on exports, Stellantis is also starting its engine production project at the Córdoba Automotive Hub. The MultiJet 2.2 engine, recognized for its reliability and robustness, has already demonstrated its qualities on other Stellantis models and meets the needs of customers who use these vehicles for work.
“The Fiat Titano is much more than a new model; it is part of a long-term industrial strategy that aims to position the Stellantis Automotive Complex in Cordova as a true regional hub for pickups. Our plant is being modernized not only to increase production, but to produce with higher quality, greater local integration, and constantly evolving,” says Emanuele Cappellano, Stellantis president for South America.

R$2 billion investment
The implementation of this major project in such a competitive segment required an investment of R$2 billion, earmarked for new components, high-quality engines and the creation of 1,800 new jobs, 50 percent of which will be filled by women. In this way, the Cordova plant will not only produce more, but also produce better: with greater integration of local parts.

“Today, the Cordova Automotive Cluster is writing a new chapter in its history, thanks to the manufacturing power of Stellantis, a global chassis specialist, and its extensive experience in pickups in other segments, with regional specialists such as Brazil and Mexico. But this is only possible thanks to the know-how of an exceptional team in our Ferreyra plant, responsible for the production of the best-selling model in Argentina in the last 4 years, the Fiat Cronos,” says Martín Zuppi, President of Stellantis Argentina.
